SoHo apartment where Bernie Madoff’s son Mark Madoff committed suicide is up for rent at $35K
Back in 11th December 2010, the eldest son of disgraced financier Bernard Madoff who was jailed for 150 years in the worst investment fraud ‘Ponzi scam’ in American history, Mark Madoff, 46, hanged himself in the living room of his SoHo apartment. This terrible and unnecessary tragic death of Mark was reported as the result of his father’s monstrous crime who succumbed to two years of unrelenting pressure from false accusations and innuendo. The very same exclusive luxury SoHo loft in New York City is now up for rent for just $35,000 a month. However, it’s interesting to note that this SoHo apartment in 158 Mercer Street’s New Museum Building will go on the market in November for the second time in just over a year, as it went on rent last year at a price of $32,500 per month. The current rental figure of $35K is however $2,500 more than what is being paid by the current occupants, who are leaving in November.
